Joseph Stanley Lubek age 78, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rickie (nee' Fraker) Lubek and their son, Aaron Lubek.
Preceded in death by parents, Stanley and Ann Lubek.
Joe was born on May 24, 1947 in Chicago, IL and was a 1965 graduate of Reavis High School. He went on to proudly serve our country in the US Army. On March 1, 1969 he married the love of his life, Rickie and together they shared 56 years settling in Gary, IN. Joe retired from Ford Motor Company in April 2007 with over 35 years of service. He enjoyed jogging and traveling with Rickie.
Joe was a loving brother to Stan, Pat, Virginia and Tom and a loving uncle to their children. Joe loved children!
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 beginning at 12:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30 pm with Pastor John Son and Pastor Joe Szmuc officiating at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN.
