Joshua John Prine age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 10, 2025.
He is survived by his mother, Melissa O'Connell (Ed); grandmother, Maryann O'Connell; sister, Kylee Prine; uncle, Tim O'Connell; great-aunts, Carol (Bob) Sterling and Julie (Andy) Bryant, Daniel Prine, and many numerous family members and friends.
Preceded in death by grandfather, John 'Jack' O'Connell, great grandfathers, John Wachtor and Michael O'Connell and great grandmothers, Helen Wachtor and Marion O'Connell.
Josh was born on December 19, 1999 in Munster, IN. He attended Southridge Elementary and Highland Highschool. He played soccer and baseball, gaining the nickname "Skeeter" because he was so fast on the fields. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He loved to play basketball, fishing and anything that involved the outdoors.
Josh was loved by all of his family and friends. He had the biggest heart and will truly be missed by all.
A prayer service and memorial will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025 at the American Legion Post 180, 2703 Jewett Ave, Highland, IN from 1pm-3:30pm.
