Juan Puente

Juan Puente, 63,  of Hammond, IN, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021.  Juan is survived by his loving children: Sarah Ramirez Puente, Juan Alfonso Puente, loving companion, caregiver and mother of his children Effie Ramirez, dear siblings: Agueda Ponce De Leon, Angelica (Frank) Mundo, Refujio (Veronica) Puente, Lupe Puente, Jose Puente, and numerous additional loving family and friends. 

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (just south of Ridge Road) Highland, Indiana, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 10:30 AM directly at St. Mary Catholic Church, 802 W 144th St., East Chicago, IN 46312.  Viewing at the church will precede the mass beginning at 10:00AM.  Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
