Judith Mikulski Obituary

Judith Mikulski Age 82, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday March 9, 2024.

She is survived by her children, Dawn (Gaspar) Hernandez, Daryl (Kathy) Mikulski, Denise (Jeff) Bridges; daughter-in-law Michelle Mikulski; grandchildren; Nicole (Mike) Frey, Danielle Hernandez, Fabian Rodriguez, Brylie Bridges and Dalisse Mikulski; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Hernandez, Madeline Hernandez and Michael Hernandez.

Preceded in death by parents Wilfred and Sue Roberts, loving son Daniel Mikulski and many loved Aunts and Uncles.

Judy was born January 18, 1942 in South Chicago, IL and was a 1959 graduate of Bowen High School. In 1968 she moved to Griffith, IN where she raised her four children and started her career at Plaza Lanes. After 46 years of employment, she happily retired at the age of 80. Anyone who bowled at Plaza Lanes knew Judy and life-long friendships were created and the people she worked with became like family to her and supported her through her life.

She was the hardest working woman, sometimes holding down three jobs to support her family through the years. Judy was an amazing chef and loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She loved her card clubs, movies, plays, eating out at restaurants, and playing games any chance she got. She loved the holidays and made each one so special with her thoughtful and generous touches, always going the extra step.

Judy was a loving and even more giving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched.

A private memorial will be held with her immediate family and she will be laid to rest with her parents.

Please send any condolences in the message space provided or to 205 N. Elgin St. Griffith IN 46319.

Everyone who knew Judy knew she never wanted to be the center of attention. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved by her family and friends and will never be forgotten.

Thanks Mom for all you did. We all love you and will forever!
