He honorably served his country in the United States Army as a proud Korean War veteran. A highlight of his later years was traveling to Washington, D.C. for the 2022 Honor Flight Chicago, a moment he deeply treasured.
Julian possessed a very strong work ethic being a hardworking and dedicated steelworker for over 50 years. He retired from Inland Steel Company in 1991 after a lifetime of commitment and integrity.
Julian enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, attending Saturday mass, Sunday outings at restaurants, reading western books, watching boxing and Chicago sports; especially cheering on his Chicago Cubs.
