Julie Hawley

Julie Hawley, age 74, of Hammond, IN, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022. She is survived by her brother Robert (Atha) Hawley; daughter Susan (Randy) Sanders; grandchildren Annastesia (Devin), Christopher (Kristen), Robert, and Rebecca (Oscar); She was beloved “JuJu” to her great grandchildren Savannah, Nevaeh Lynn, Zayah, Nevaeh Annette, Pharroh, Kenyon, Casey, Annabelle, Jakai, Alanna, Noah and Devin Jr. Preceding her in death was her parents Edgar and Elma Hawley and her great grandson Roan.

 

Julie was a life long resident of Hammond. She graduated Hammond Tech and later worked for Porter’s Apparel for many years. She enjoyed sewing and being the personal seamstress for her family. She loved making clothing and other handmade items. Julie was a devoted single mother and gave her daughter the world and later became the best grandma ever! She worked hard and made sure she spoiled her family. She enjoyed her music and TV shows. Julie loved her daughter and grandkids and was so lucky to be able to be there for 13 of her great grandchildren! She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. 

 

A memorial celebration will be held on October 7th. Contact family for details. Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
