Justin Elston

Justin Elston, age 40, passed away Tuesday, August 26th, 2025. Justin was born February 14th, 1985, in Merrillville, IN, to his mother Joanne Elston. His father, Thomas Elston, who preceded him in death. Justin was a loving son, brother, dad, nephew, uncle, and partner.

Justin shared a deep and devoted loving bond with Kristen Laute, his partner. His love for Kristen and the love they held for each other will forever be cherished by those who knew them. He was the proud father of Tyler and Taylor; they remained forever close to his heart.

Justin loved his nephews and nieces: Brantley, Payton, Alana, Landon, Michael, Lilly, Colton, Cashton and Nick. He is survived by his brothers Thomas, Timothy, Christopher, and Randy, and sister Jamie. He loved all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Justin loved football. He liked the Chicago Bears like his grandpa and uncle. He loves adventures like fishing and camping. Justin was known for his caring heart and smile, and he left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Justin found joy with his family, friends, and the people he loved. Justin’s memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. “May you rest in peace, surrounded by love. Amen.” 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Klemmann Road, Highland, IN, 46322 with a Funeral Service at 5:00 pm. Rev. Charles Niblick officiating.
