Keith Gaiser Obituary

Keith Leroy Gaiser, 78, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Faye (Zandstra) Gaiser; his children, Jessica (Tony) Lala, Jon (Amanda) Gaiser, children Jeremy, Jackson, Xander, Ben (Jessica) Gaiser children Sam, Kaitlyn, Emily, and Daniel, Mark (Becca) Gaiser, Isaiah Gaiser, and LaTanya Gaiser; and his siblings, Leila (Alejandro Nuno) Boots, Eileen (Curt) Berger, and David (Paula) Gaiser. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Luella Gaiser.

Keith was born on July 9, 1947, in Worthington, Minnesota. He graduated from Worthington High School and later attended Willmar Technical School before enlisting in the United States Navy. He proudly served aboard the USS Oriskany as an Aviation Ordnancemen (Red Shirt) during the Vietnam War for four years.

On September 11, 1971, Keith married the love of his life, Faye. Together they created a home in Highland, Indiana, where they raised six children and opened their hearts and home to numerous foster children over the years.

Keith was the owner of Gaiser Tire Service for more than 40 years. After closing the business, he continued working in the tire industry for several years before later working for U-Haul.

A dedicated supporter of Highland Christian School, Keith faithfully served on the school board and cared for the school buses. He was also a lifelong member of Gideons International and served for many years as a CASA volunteer. In recent years, he became involved with the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and other community charities.

He enjoyed camping with Faye and their dog Rocky. He loved to fish when he was able and created amazing items as he turned wood.

Keith was known as a man of deep faith who never hesitated to share his love for God with others. He loved his family fiercely, generously helped those in need, and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
