Kelly Mears Obituary
Kelly S. Mears of Hammond, Indiana passed away on October 8th, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kelly joins his parents Joyce and Bill Mears. He is survived by wife Alfreda “Freda” Mears, his stepchildren Joshua Keyes and Natasha Keyes, his sister Lori (A.J) Toyias, his brothers William “Butch” (Ashley) Mears and Robert “Bubba” Mears, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Gracie
He grew up in Munster, Indiana and worked in the casino industry in Las Vegas, Kansa City, and the Chicagoland area. A life-long Cub and Bears fan, Kelly lived life to the fullest with his family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 13, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 3:00 pm.
