Kristan Rosario

Kristan Rosario, age 46, born in Hobart, IN, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. She is survived by her husband Daniel Rosario, daughter Isabella Genoveva Ruth Rosario, in-laws Hilda Gloria Otano-Rosario and Hector C. Rosario, Sr., siblings Jeremy C. Jones, Kathy Stidham, Holly Smith, Johnny Hutchison, and Omar Salim, stepfather, AJ Salim, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jimmy L. Jones and Joan E. Salim, grandparents Richard and Ruth Brown, Lucille and Orville C. Jones, sister Angy Jones, and niece, Faith Jones.

Kristan graduated from Edison High School and continued her education at Purdue Calumet where she was on the Chancellor's List. She received a degree in psychology and communications, and graduated with honors and distinction. She began working as a behavioral therapist at the Midwest Center for Youth and Families. Kristan worked her way up to become a behavioral therapist supervisor, then married Daniel Rosario on February 14, 2013. She was then blessed with her daughter Isabella Rosario on October 31, 2014. She was a member of CRC Christian Revival Center and was deeply devoted to her faith in God. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at the CRC Christian Revival Center, 805 W  57th Ave. Merrillville, IN, 46410 on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with wake service following immediately after. Funeral services to be held at same location at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 16, 2021 with graveside services at Ridgelawn Cemetery immediately after. Pastor Michael Otano officiating.
