Lannie Brown age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife, Toni Brown; children, Pete Brown and Kate (Zach) Franken; grandchildren, Henry, Madeline and William Franken; brother, Robert (Georgia) Brown; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Brown and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Martha and Glen Runnion; sister, Barbara Bodnar and brother, Rodney Brown.
Lannie was born on December 31, 1941 in Pinckneyville, IL and was a 1960 graduate of Thornton Fractional South High School. He then went on to serve in the 24th Infantry Division of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. On September 14, 1968, he married Toni Bemish. He was an active member of Saint Maria Goretti Church in Dyer, IN. He retired from Southwest Beer Distributors, Crestwood, IL.
A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Saint Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, IN. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the start of the Funeral Service.
