Lissa Ann (Flatt) Marschall

Lissa Ann (Flatt) Marschall passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Tracy (Marschall) Salazar (Peter "Nick"), niece Jessica (Flatt) Goldsmith (Ron), great niece Alexis, nephews William Andrew Flatt and Lindal Hairston, and cousins Lon (Cynthia) and Jerry (JoEllen) Brewster and their children.

Preceded in death by parents William (Chuck) Andrew Flatt and Margaret Sofia (Brewster) Flatt, and brothers Ramon and William Flatt, and sisters-in-law Dawn and Linda.

Lissa was born December 9, 1950 in Gary, Indiana, graduated from William Wirt HS in 1968 and stayed in the Miller area of Gary for much of her life. She was married briefly and began a family. She pursued a career in retail management and sales, winning numerous awards for highest sales in different categories. She was well known in the companies she served for cleaning house in underperforming departments and implementing processes to improve efficiencies and increase profits. In 2006 she moved to Indianapolis and worked for Goodwill Industries before retiring and eventually moving back to the NW Indiana region.

She enjoyed reading, making art, the beach of Lake Michigan and her cat. She was a strong advocate for herself and for her friends.

Services were held privately.
