Loretta Marsh

Loretta Marsh age 86, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Wittenberg Village. She is survived by: children Betty (Dan Pickens) Marsh, Thomas (Sue) Marsh, James (Judy) Marsh, and Edward (Lisa) Marsh, brothers and sisters Sylvia Webster, Alfred (Olivia) Helfen, Rita (Edward) Schneider, Ralph Helfen, Deacon Raymond (Connie) Helfen, and Shirley (Roger) Mikuly, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband William H. Marsh, her parents Aloysius and Florence Helfen, and sister Delores Hansen. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 9041 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319 beginning at 10:00 am with a visitation at the church from 9:00 am until time of service with Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. 

Loretta was a former employee of Strack & Van Til, and was a member of St. Mary Church Griffith. She was also a longtime member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters.
