Lucita B. Dosado

Lucita B. Dosado, age 75, passed on Friday, November 5, 2021.

She is survived by her husband Ambrosio; sons, René and Anthony (Jonna); granddaughter, DonnaLucia; and six sisters.

Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2021 Directly at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland, IN 46322 from 10:00 am to the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, cremation will follow. 

From her childhood beginnings until her death she was a loving and faithful servant of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Lucy, as she was known by family, friends, and coworkers, was born on January 20, 1946. After receiving her medical technology degree in the Philippines, she moved to the United States and began work as a medical technologist, later achieving U.S. citizenship. She married in 1968 and grew her family in 1969 and 1977. She retired from St. Margaret Hospital in 2008 after a long, successful career and continued being a kind, generous, caring, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. All appreciated her smiles and laughter as well as the warm comfort of her chicken adobo and pancit.

Thank you, Mom. You never left us wanting for food or love. You are forever in our hearts and minds. Rest in peace.
