Luis (Louie) Antonio Nieto

Luis (Louie) Antonio Nieto, 65, passed away on October 17, 2023. He is survived by: loving wife, Elma; children Jose Nieto, Tina Rios, and Denise Meneses, and many grandchildren whom he loved undoubtedly. He is also survived by a large extended family as Louie is one of 13 children.  He was a graduate of East Chicago Washington High School class of 1976 and also served in the United States ARMY.

Louie and his beloved wife were happily married for 37 years and shared some of the best years together. His son was the light of his life and they shared an unbreakable bond.

An avid believer in, "if you love what you do, you'll never work another day in your life."  He was a world renown, ASE certified master body and paint expert.

Louie was a selfless and compassionate man with the kindest soul. He enjoyed dancing and dressing to perfection. You could often find him in the garage, or hanging out with his grandkids.  
 
Visitation will be Friday, October 27th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 300 Wirth Road, Griffith IN with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery, 4401 West Ridge Road, Gary IN to follow.
