Manuel Garcia

Manuel Garcia, 69, of East Chicago, IN, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. He is survived by: children Melissa (Jesus) Valdez and Manuel (Laura A.),  grandchildren Jacob, Justin, Manuel Jr., Brianna, Nathan, Mason, Eli, and Ian, great-grandchildren Alessia LeeAnn and Manuel III, siblings Lottie (Fred) Dozier, Alice (late Joe) Gomez, Patricia (Efrain) Chavez, Dianne (Eugene) Urbina, Jesse (Maria) Garcia, Dolores Garcia, and Rosemary Garcia, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and lifelong friends Ruben Ruiz, and Guadalupe De-Santiago (D.J). 

He was preceded in death by: parents Connie Urbina and Manuel Garcia, siblings Albert Garcia, Margaret Garcia, Ernie Garcia, and Gloria Chavarria, and nephews Matthew Dozier and Michael Urbina.

Manuel worked for St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, IN for over 20 years. He was the biggest fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
