Maria Mitropoulos Obituary

Maria Mitropoulos passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025. 

She is survived by her loving brother John Kedziora, her son, Edward Dranka, her grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Brandon, and Matthew, her great grandchildren, Capri, Dominik, and Caruso, numerous nieces and nephews, and her canine pals Jack and Mikie. 

Preceded in death by parents Theodore and Maria Kedziora, her brother Victor Kedziora, her sister Jean Pawlik, her sons, Mark and Christopher Dranka,  her granddaughter, Baby Maria, and her godson, Richard Pawlowski. 

Maria was born in Poland, May 15, 1945 and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She loved horses, her family and photography and had a deep faith in God and the Catholic Church. 

Maria was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, godmother, and dog-mom. She will forever remain in the hearts of so many. May she rest in peace-Amen! 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
