Marianne Margaret Sleeper. 6/20/1930 – 9/29/2025

She was many things, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, Great Great Aunt. Beloved by dozens of cousins as Aunt Peggy. She was a dear friend to many residents of the Town Shores Buckingham building and known as Peg. Proud graduate of Bishop Noll High School and lifelong, devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs.

She was taken up to Heaven on the 29th day of September, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, George William Sleeper whom she remained devoted to for 68 years, sisters Dorothy Backe, Valerie Cloghessy, Elaine Balling, Charlene Sadowski and survived by her sister Florence Klein.

Survived by her children George Sleeper (Margaret), Charles Sleeper (Joyce), James Sleeper (Joyce), Mary Katherine McKenna (Michael; fiancee), Margaret Kammer, Susan Kerosky (Bernard), Robert Sleeper and Thomas Sleeper (Christina).
Survived by her 20 Grandchildren Carla, Cameron, Bonnie, Kelly, George, Amanda, Stephen, Joshua, Jessica, Emily, Violet, Rosemary, Elizabeth, Keith, Rebecca, Atlas, Aaron, Colin, Elizabeth and Nathan.

Survived by her 19 Great Grandchildren Zamir, Sasha, Abigail, Evelyn, Thomas, William, Zoe, Zachary, Cerra Bella, Jory, Liam, Owen, Cole, Ollie, Alexandra, Sebastian, James, Aiden and Mina.

We believe, that by her death occuring on the feastday of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, they came down to take her to Heaven. God rest her soul and enjoy the reunion with your heavenly loved ones.

A Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30am with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church, 3025 Highway Ave, Highland, IN 46322.

Burial Service to follow at St. John/St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
