Mark Alan Claar

Mark Alan Claar, age 61 passed away on August 1,2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lisa (Wood) Claar, His 2 children, Zachary (Kaitlyn) Claar and Mallary Claar. He was the proud Papa to 5 grandchildren,Nolan, Madi (he affectionately called Gracie) Everett,Lain and Callie.

Mark was a friend to everyone that met him, from his breakfast buddies at McDonalds to lifelong neighbors. He always had a smile on his face and a hand to lend to anyone who needed him. He loved to spend time in his yard. He took pride in his garden, growing vegetables and was known for his delicious tomatoes. Mark decorated for every holiday and was proud to show off his home. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday August 30th, 2025 at his home 3518 Winsor Pl. Crown Point, IN 46307. Family and Friends are all welcome to come and share stories and memories with the family from 1:00pm to 6:00pm
