Mary Beth (Opasik) Scieska

Mary Beth Scieska, beloved fiancé, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

She is survived by her fiancé, Tony Muehlbauer; her children; Shannon (Angela) Scieska, Sarah Scieska, and Stephanie Scieska; and her treasured grandchildren; Ariel, Zoe, Cole, and Arrow, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her father, Walter Opasik; her siblings, Deborah (Ed) Vargo, Cathy Brotherton, Scott Opasik, and David Opasik; and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.

She found joy and her closeness to God through flowers, gardening, and the beauty of the outdoors. Christmas and the holidays were especially dear to her, those were times when she could celebrate traditions, share in giving, and create memories with her family. Cooking for loved ones was a part of sharing her heart. She poured love into every dish, making each gathering feel like home. A lover of books and writing, she found peace and inspiration in words.

Her kindness, creativity, and deep love for family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be missed more than words can express.

Friends can meet with the family at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road in Highland, IN on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00pm ending with a service at 3:00pm.
