Mary Lou Slaney

Mary Lou Slaney, 86, from Griffith, IN, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023.  She is survived by her loving daughters Brenda Koselke and Bonnie (Mark) Marek, grandchildren Neil (Autumn) Marek and Erin (Cody) Stewart, great grandchildren Ember, Eden and Asher Marek and Gwen and Rowan Stewart. Preceded in death by husbands Edward Koselke and Glenn Slaney, parents Walter Hoshaw and Ethel Iddings, brother Richard Hoshaw.

Mary Lou loved being surrounded by her family and loved ones. She loved golfing, camping, fishing and watching the Bears and Purdue football.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN 46322 from 9:30am to 11:30am. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.
