Michael Laskarin

Michael Laskarin, age 47, passed away peaceful on Wednesday October 29, 2025 with family by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife Amanda Laskarin of 25 years; children Ashley Laskarin and Cody Laskarin. And his furry friend Tank, numerous nieces and nephew.

Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Nancy Laskarin, Sister AnnMarie Lessner.

Mike was born in Hammond, IN. He is a Calumet High School Graduate, Five years Apprenticeship School for Plumbers Local 210. He was a teacher for many year and then became the President of Plumbers Local 210. As still working for the union, he decided to start a new journey and started working with the PipeTrades doing what he loved to do organize people into the union.

On June 24th, 2000 Mike married the love of his life high school sweetheart Amanda Gordon, and together they had 2 beautiful kids.

Mike loved spending time with his family. He loved to go camping, taking trips and golfing. Wherever his family was he wanted to be there.

Mike was a loving father, uncle, and friend, and truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM -3:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN

Following the service there will a celebration of life at Plumbers Local 210 2901 E.83rd Pl Merrillville, IN.  Everyone is welcomed.
