Michael Parrish

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Parrish, who left this world on April 15, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on December 18, 1979, Michael touched the lives of everyone who knew him.. His journey through life, though cut short far too soon, was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. 

Michael was preceded in death in death by his beloved grandmothers, Betty Henry, Thelma Damron; his father, Scott Parrish; his mother, Patti Damron; and his aunt, Mindy Grisham. While these losses were heavy on his heart, they were reminders of the love that surrounded him, shaping him into the remarkable person he became.

He is survived by his loving fiancée, Rachael Sweet, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Michael's warm spirit and infectious smile will be forever missed by his grandfather, Tony Henry; his aunt, Valerie (Bob) Gilbert; his uncles, Joe (April) Grisham and Mark Grisham; his brother, Ryan Damron; and his best friend, Anthony Flores. Each of these individuals were a significant part of his life, and their love and support helped define the man he was. 

A passionate sports fan, Michael had a special affinity for the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He found joy in cheering for his teams, sharing unforgettable moments with friends and family, and celebrating victories that brought everyone together. His enthusiasm for life extended beyond sports; he had remarkable ability to connect with those around him, sharing in their joys and offering comfort in times of need.

Michael was blessed to have a network of family and friends who loved him dearly. His kindness, humor, and loyalty endeared him to many, and he will be remembered for his ability to light up a room with his laughter.

Visitation for Michael will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 5:30 pm.

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Michael's life, share their memories, and honor the legacy of a truly remarkable man.

As we bid farewell to Michael Parrish, we take comfort in the knowledge that his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
