Michael Scally

Michael Scally age 64, passed away on April 27, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on August 16, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois.

Michael built a proud and dedicated career as an Ironworker with Local 63. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and the respect he earned from those who worked alongside him. Outside of his profession, Michael found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing with his sons and spending countless hours appreciating nature and sharing those moments with family and friends.

Above all, Michael was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Scally; his two sons, Micheal Scally and Nicholas Scally; his brother, Timothy Scally and his wife Gail (Hollins) Scally and their son Jason Scally and his wife Stephanie Driscoll; and his sister, Patricia Scally and her husband Bill Keenan and their son William Keenan and his wife Molly (Snow) Keenan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty (Satterfield) Scally and John Scally, and his little brother, John Scally.

Michael will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to his family, and the simple joys he found in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held at Oak Ridge Prairie located at 301 S Colfax St, Griffith, IN 46319. The Service will be from 12 P.M to 6 P.M. May 16th 2026.
