In Loving Memory of Montelle (Monty Man) DeMarco Lang.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Montelle DeMarco Lang, age 29, who left us on May 18, 2025. Born on September 12, 1995, Monty Man brought unforgettable laughter, kindness and love to everyone who knew him.
A resident of Chicago, Illinois, Montelle graduated from Rich East High School and attended Governor’s State University. He was employed with The Chicago Transit Authority. Montelle will always be remembered for his sense of humor and unique ability to warm the hearts of those he loved. His unwavering loyalty to family and close friends was cherished by all whose lives he touched. He enjoyed being a father and often spent time with family. He made a lasting impact on those around him and will be truly missed.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving son, LaMonte Lang and daughter, Audrey Jayla Lang; mother, Vena Marie Walker; father, Terry Lang (Donnie); grandfather, Joe Lang; siblings, Brandon L. Walker, Terry C. Blevins, Terryell Marie Lang, Davalla Garrett, Marcus Garrett and Clarence Lang; aunts, Ernestine Smith and Rosalee Prioleau; uncle, Ernest Walker; and special cousins, Melodie Smith and Anthony A. Dixon, III; special great nephew, Jaiden Jones; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris Walker, Joseph L. Gibson and Donnie Randle-Lang; aunt, Mary E. Cross.
Though gone far too soon, Montelles' memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
You are free now, Montelle. Fly like an eagle!
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
A Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm with Dr. John Ambercrombie officiating.
