Nancy Critser Obituary

Nancy Louise Critser, born May 20, 1937 (Age 84), of Lake Station, IN, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. Nancy was born and raised in Rensselaer, IN. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Waples-Jones (Jeff), grandson David, and nieces Kathryn and Jennifer Neafsy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Vern Critser, and Evelyn Lee-Critser, and sisters Priscilla Critser-Neafsy, and Pamela Critser-Waples.

Nancy worked for the United Telephone Company for many years, Jackson Funeral Home, and she worked the front desk at The Rensselaer Republican. Nancy loved to cook, read, crochet, and sew. She was a kind and generous person. She loved to meet new people and spend time with her family. She will be missed beyond words!

Cremation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Highland, IN on Monday, May 24, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her daughter's family to assist with final expenses.
