Nancy Farino

Nancy M. Lee Farino, 58, of Griffith, IN, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2021. She is survived by: loving children Katie (Joe) Christiano, Lauren Kelley, and Craig Kelley, grandkids Tyler, Michael, Gianna, Jameson, Giovanni, and Lucas, sister Linda (George) Bode, brother Robert Farino, and numerous additional cousins, friends, and family. Preceded in death by parents Robert & Patricia Farino, and loving brother Mark (Marky) Farino.

Nancy grew up in Hazel Crest. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1980. From there, she furthered her education and began working in the medical field. Nancy was very athletic and participated in many sports such as cheerleading, swimming, and running triathlons and marathons. She enjoyed a variety of activities such as skiing, unicycling, and many others. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and going to White Sox games. She was an avid White Sox fan.

Nancy's infectious laugh and room-lighting smile will never be forgotten. She was a caring soul who would help anyone in need. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

A  Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow promptly at 7:00 pm. Rev. Gregory Bim-Merle officiating.
