Nancy Fleener

Nancy Fleener, 89, of Munster, IN passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025.  She was a resident of Highland, IN for many years before moving to Munster, IN.  She was a faithful member of Immanuel UCC in Highland. A devoted wife, mother and homemaker, Nancy was born on March 5, 1936, in Eldora, Iowa to Clinton and Daisy Mae (Buck) Rubendall.

Nancy's life was one centered on family, faith and love.  She was married to her beloved heartbroken husband, Jerry Fleener, with whom she shared 68 wonderful years.  Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter and lasting memories.  A proud mother Nancy is survived by Randall (Rhonda) Fleener, grandchildren Randalynn (Drew) Ranich, Reece Fleener, Rylee Fleener and Robert Fleener.  Great-grandchild Bronwynn Ranich.  She is preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Fleener, parents Clinton Rubendall and Daisy Mae (Buck) Rubendall, sisters Virgina (Rubendall) Groninga, Betty (Rubendall) Sents.  

Nancy was loved by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Nancy's family will hold a memorial service at a later date. She will be interred at Calumet Park Cemetery beside her son.
