Nancy Jenner (née Baldazo)

Nancy Jenner (née Baldazo), 78, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025. Born on March 20, 1947, in Laredo, Texas, Nancy lived a vibrant and full life surrounded by family, friends, music, and laughter.

Nancy was the proud Co-owner of Snuzzo’s Bar in Gary, Indiana, where she and her late husband Clarence (Jay) Jenner Jr. built not just a business, but a community. For more than 30 years, Snuzzo’s was a place where everyone felt welcome—thanks to Nancy’s bright smile, warm heart, and generous spirit.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Edward Gonzalez (Abigail), Diane Medley (Steve Cagle), and Gloria Gonzalez (Keith Harrison); and her cherished grandchildren, Zoe Swigon, Cameron Gonzalez, Griffin Medley, Dominic Gonzalez, Gwyneth Medley, Lucas Gonzalez, Gianna Gonzalez, and Adrienne Gonzalez.

Nancy is also survived by her siblings, Nora Baldazo, Hector Baldazo, Blanca Alvarez, Nelly Tovar, Yolanda Delgado, Norma Baldazo, Fernando Baldazo and Jerry Baldazo, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Roberto and Gerarda Baldazo;  her husband, Clarence 'Jay' Jenner Jr.; her brothers, Robert 'Bob' Baldazo and Ralph Baldazo; her sister, Isabel Hinojosa; her niece, Caroline Baldazo; and her nephew Gregg Mohoi.

Nancy loved music, art, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her nurturing nature, and her unwavering love for the people around her. Her light, warmth, and compassion will live on in all who were lucky enough to know her.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM with Chaplain Jacarra 'Michael' Williams of Visiting Nurses Association of NWI (VNA) officiating at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 8941 Kleinman Road Highland, IN.

The inurnment of ashes will be held at a later date.
