Norbert Kowal Obituary

Nobert Kowal, 81, of Hobart, IN, formerly of Whiting, IN, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 surrounded by his devoted family.

Norbert was born on October 28, 1938 in East Chicago, IN; the son of Stanley and Lillian (Rosinski). He served proudly in the U.S Air Force from 1956-1960. Norb was a 1956 graduate of Bishop Noll H.S.

Norbert was an avid Chicago Cub and Green Bay Packer fan. He was a WW II and Korean War buff. He enjoyed being with family, especially his eight grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Linda (Samples); his brother Philip. He is also survived by his son Mark (Cara), his daughter Elizabeth (Tony) Kwintera, his granchildren Rosalyn, Ayn and Dagny Kowal, Zach and Chloe Kowal, Veronica, Avery, and Dominic Kwintera. He was preceded in death by his son Michael on June 30, 2020 and his niece Suzanne Christine Kowal.

A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date.
