Norma J. Chidichimo

Norma J. Chidichimo, 88 of Griffith, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Chidichimo. Survived by her four children, Fred Dunn, Paul (Diane) Chidichimo, Cherie (Dave) Gartland, Dominic (Darci) Chidichimo; daughter-in-law, Donna Dunn.  Seven grandchildren, Bill Mercer, Bob (Diane) Mercer, Dawn (Tony) Cygan, Danielle (Craig) Egner, Michael (Chrissy) Chidichimo, Paulie (Julie) Chidichimo, Cory Chidichimo; seven great-grandchildren, Bryan, Katie, Lex, Ty, Isabel, Bridget and Jenna and seven great great-grandchildren; one sister, Emily (the late Harry) Moranski; one brother, Howard Besch; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends    

Norma was from Griffith, IN and formerly the Roseland neighborhood in Chicago. She worked for many years at Patty Cake Bakery until her retirement.  She was hard working and driven. Her laugh was infectious and her kindness immeasurable.  She loved spending time with her family, trips to the casino and watching, "the ball game." She was a huge sports fan and a lifelong, die hard White Sox fan. Norma will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. "Ma", "Norm", "Normie", "Storm", You will be missed beyond measure.
