Patricia Ericksen Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Patricia Jean Ericksen (nee Stuppy), passed away April 6, 2026, at the age of 95. Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Everett Ericksen. She is survived by her loving daughters: Rebecca (Robert) Howard, Cynthia (Richard) Wotkun, Donita Ericksen, Karen (Chris) Meissnest; grandchildren: Abigail Kinney, Aimee (Ronald) Gabbert, Brooke Kinney, Donald Koerner, Kathleen Jerge, Jacob (Alycia) Meissnest, Emily (Taelor) Haase; and eleven great-grandchildren; three (plus one on the way!) great-great-grandchildren.
Pat was fun-loving, creative, and curious. One of her deepest passions was gardening and was a proud graduate of Purdue's first Master Gardner's class. She gave back to her community through Girl Scouts, Meals on Wheels, and PAWS. She had many interests and hobbies - fishing, reading, painting, collecting (so many collections!), and anything that involved the outdoors. Some of our favorite memories were from the family vacations she to us on to the Grand Canyon, North Caroline, Tennessee, Branson, and Pennsylvania, which often included visiting beautiful gardens. But mostly, she loved her family and will be dearly missed by us all.
