Patricia Henard Obituary
Patricia A. Henard, 80, of Dyer, Indiana, passed away on November 24, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend; remembered for her warmth, unconditional love, and generosity, and she took great joy in putting on gatherings with her friends and family.
Born on November 25, 1944, to Harold and Betty Pate, who preceded her in death, as did her three sisters, Marge, Barbara, and Genevieve.
Pat graduated from TF South High School in Lansing, Illinois. At the age of 17 she started her career in the insurance business. At the age of 50, she achieved a lifetime dream which was to become a Commercial Lines Insurance Field Auditor, a job she held until retirement.
Pat is survived by her husband of 61 years, Stanley (a.k.a. Maynard) ; one child, Joel 9Aimee); and several nieces and nephews. Pat's memory will be treasured always by those who knew and loved her.
To honor Pat's wishes, there will be no service. Memorial contributions in Pat's name may be made to Northwest Indiana Food Bank, www.foodbanknwi.org/ ; or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
