Patricia Anne (Sullivan) Newcomb of Crown Point, IN, age 89, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 24,2025.

She is survived by her loving children; Wayne (Jody) Newcomb, Kimberly Krsak, Dave Newcomb, Joanne (Mark) Hennessee; grandchildren, Timmy (Mindy) Krsak, Angie (Patrick) Ehredt, Michael Newcomb, Jessica (Michael) Kelly, Nicole (Evan Fetherolf) Krsak, Joshua Castillo, Bobby Hamilton, Samanatha Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Emma and Grant Krsak, Alina Castillo, Michael Kelly Jr., Reagan and Harper Ehredt, Jaxson Hamilton; siblings, Shelia Snitker and Edward Sullivan; sister-in-law and dear friend, Marlene Newcomb; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Charles Newcomb; parents, Patrick and Mary Sullivan; sister, Marie Sullivan and brother David Sullivan; best friend, Aunt Lois Overland.

Patricia was born September 13, 1935 in Slade, Dublin County, Ireland. Her family moved to Warrington, England in 1940 where she finished school and went to work at RAF station Burtonwood. While there, she met Charles and married her forever best friend June 4, 1955. They returned to the US after Charles’ military service and honorable discharge. Together they returned to Chicago, Illinois continuing to grow and raise their family together until June of 1968 when Charles passed away. Patricia became a US citizen April 22, 1969. Patricia moved to Hammond, IN in 1971 to continue raising their 4 children. She also worked at Kaplan Shoes and VanTils for several years.
