Patricia "Pat" Pearson

Patricia "Pat" Pearson, age 79, long time resident of Hessville, IN currently residing in Griffith, IN, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. She is survived by her children Kim (Kenny) Moor, Craig (Karen) Pearson, Kris (Jim) Powell; grandson Steven (Andrea) Pearson; great-granddaughter Phaelan Pearson; brother, Stanley (Annemarie) Relinski; sister Susan (Robert) Croker; several nephews and nieces. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Thomas (Tom) Pearson; mother-in-law, Merle Pearson; father, Harry Relinski; mother, Winifred (Winnie) Relinski; brother, Jim Relinski; and cherished grandson Joshua Pearson.

Patricia was born on July 6, 1943 in Hammond, IN, and attended Morton Highschool. She was married to the love of her life in June of 1962 and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom to her three children. Afterwards, she worked at Walmart as the head of the layaway department, and then in the vision center until her retirement, where she became great friends with some special people. She bowled on a league and enjoyed playing in a bunco club for many years. Pat loved vacationing with family and friends at Lake of the Ozarks, Shaefer Lake, Las Vegas, and Florida. She enjoyed her almost yearly trips to Washington and Georgia to visit family members. Pat's favorite past times were bird watching, playing slot games, and yelling at the squirrels!

Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN 46322 on Wednesday September 14, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with the funeral service following immediately. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn in Crown Point, IN.

Family and friends are invited to Set 'em Up Lanes & Restaurant, 135 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319 following the interment to celebrate Pat's life from 3:30 to 6:30 pm.
