Paula Ashley

Paula Ashley age 72, of Gary, IN passed away on Thursday, May 29th, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Ashley; children Paul Cagle (Barb), Amanda (Mike) Laskarin, step son, Scott Ashley (Amy); grandchildren: Ashley, Cody, Bailey, Micah, Ethan, Maddie, Jacob and Oliver; dear sister Pat Burkholder and loving brother Greg McNece; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary McNece and brother Larry McNece.

Paula retired from Community Hospital, Munster, IN.  She enjoyed going camping.  Spending time with her husband and grandkids.  Her biggest joy was her grandbabies and going to church. Paula was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church, Lake Station, IN.

Paula was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 7th, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.

Interment will be in Burrville, TN. Celebrate of life will be in the near future.
