Peter R. Frigo, age 74, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy A. Frigo (Pala); children Nicole (John) and Peter (Lisa), brother-in-law Al Pala (Carrol), sister-in-laws Dolores Bobin Barbara (late Wally) Pala, and Jean (late Chester) Pala, numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Emma Frigo, and sister, Nancy Soltis.
Pete was born June 8, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois and was a 1969 graduate of Chicago Vocational High School. On July 13, 1974, he married the love of his life Nancy Pala, and together they raised their two children. Pete retired from Modern Drop Forge with 44 years of service.
He enjoyed golfing, fly fishing and hunting with his son in the mountains of Colorado, gathering with his “Breakfast Club” retirees, and weekends with Nancy at the casino.
Pete was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend and will be truly missed and remembered for his unwavering generosity.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm followed by a prayer service at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
