Randall Ray Long

Randall Ray Long, 31 of Elkhart, IN passed away unexpectedly September 3rd, 2023. He was born September 23, 1991 in Hammond, IN. Survived by Mother Sharon Long, Sister Rochelle Sharp, Brothers Michael Sharp, and Joshua Long. Nephews, Gage Voyles, Keagan Voyles, Rylan Tatum and Cohen Long. Nieces, Hazel Sharp, Pryor Voyles, and Ella-Rose Long. And numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by maternal grand parents, paternal grand parents, and his father. Randall Eric Long. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family Friday, September 15, 2023 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with a few words being shared at 12:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Life, Friday, September 15, 2023 at Set 'Em Up, 135 N Broad St. Griffith, IN, 46319 at 5:00 pm.

Randy was a long time resident of Hammond Indiana. Where he attended public schools and was apart of the Class of 2010 at Morton High School. Randy was an avid reader who enjoyed switching from books often. Growing up skating around Hessville. Randy was apart of Volume Skate Crew that once used to skate daily throughout Hammond & beyond. He had a lot of interests as well. Between animals to video games. Sports and watching his favorite shows. Telling jokes and making people laugh. Family and friends were Randy’s greatest joy. And never hesitated to help out whenever he could. He will be missed dearly by the numerous people who knew him.
