Richard Botts Obituary

Richard Botts, 71, of Gary, IN, passed way Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Richard served in the Army as a sergeant and spent some of his time in Turkey. After being honorably discharged, he was married to his wife Marilyn for 45 years. Richard was retired from his job as a maintenance foreman at Hammond Lead Products after 28 years of service. He is survived by: children Stayce Botts, Hollie Botts (Roy Torres), and Patrick Botts (Kim Botts), grandchildren Jason (Danyelle), Joseph, Dominic, Shyanne, and Haley, beautiful great-granddaughter Payton Anne that always made him smile, sisters Jane, Bev, and Barb, brothers Lewis and Wayne, and many, many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Richard was preceded by his wife Marilyn, sister Pat and Ann, brothers Roger and Gary, and his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be Monday, April 12, 2021 at Langel's Pizza, 2833 Highway Ave., Highland, IN, 46322 at 5:00 pm.
