Richard Nawrocki Jr. Obituary
Richard Nawrocki Jr., age 53, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
He is survived by his four children, Tianna, Miranda, Emily and Amber; their mother, Teresa; his father, Richard Sr.; brother, Thomas and sister, Holly; grandchildren, Kolden, Topanga, and Bryce; several nieces, nephews, dear friends, and his canine pal, Tilly.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie and canine companion, Scout.
Richard was born November 23, 1971 and he grew up in Hammond, IN. He graduated in 1990 from Gavit High School. He worked for many years as a cement finisher for Rich’s Concrete Inc. Richard enjoyed fishing, grilling, campfires, playing pool, and good conversations with friends and family.
He was a loving father, brother, son, uncle, and friend and he will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:00-11:00 am at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Maywood Civic Club, 921 East 169th St. Hammond, IN 46324 from 12-4 pm.
