It is difficult to capture all that is Bob Robbins into just one short paragraph, but here we go. If you knew Bob, then you knew that he loved the Lord FIRST followed by family, friends and country. He loved to share the good news of Jesus and was on a daily mission to spread genuine kindness. He was a true servant and was happy to lend a helping hand to those in need without expecting anything in return. He loved to visit with and sing for the elderly in nursing homes. Bob was a self-taught “jack-of-all-trades” and enjoyed the challenge of helping resolve construction challenges for his customers. He had an endearing, slapstick sense of humor that could turn almost any frown upside down. Through the course of his life, many people have been personally blessed by his open arms of friendship, words of wisdom and encouragement, musical ability, and lighthearted nature. We will miss the animated way he talked to his cat, and how he would randomly say, “Have I told you today that I love you?”
The visitation will be held at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322 on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the funeral service on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Hillside at 9:30 am.
