Robert (Bob) Sapp

Bob Sapp, age 91, of Highland, IN passed away July 30, 2021. Robert was born September 23, 1929.

He is survived by his loving wife Joanne of nearly 68 years, sons Jeff (Marti) Sapp, Brian (Karen) Sapp, and Danny (Mary Ann) Sapp, daughter Vicki Sapp (Steve) Brining, grandchildren Linda, Megan, and Collin, great-grandson Robert, brother Bill (Dolores) Sambrookes, sister-in-law Judy Richter, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends Jackie and Glen Younker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith Donaldson and Paul Sapp, sister Dolores, brothers Jerry Donaldson and Eugene (Erma) Donaldson, brother-in-law Bill Richter, in-laws Forrest (Alice) Richter, son Steve C. Sapp, and grandson Steven D. Sapp.

Bob worked at AT&T for 36 years and retired in 1989. He served his country in the Korean War. He loved golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Bob had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322. A Memorial Service will follow directly at the funeral home. Burial and Interment Ceremony to follow immediately at Elmwood Cemetery, 1413 E 169th Street, Hammond, IN, 46324.
