Rose Marie Prescaro

Rose Marie Prescaro (nee Feola), Griffith, IN, formerly of Calumet City Illinois, age 85, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022.  She is survived by her sons Ron (Kay) Prescaro of North Ogden, Utah; Mark Prescaro of Crown Point, IN; Ray (late Chris) Prescaro of Minooka, IL; daughter Marie (Maurice) Eisenstein of Munster, IN; daughter-in-law Kimberly (Pfeiffer) Prescaro; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A Prescaro, and her eldest son, Michael A. Prescaro.

Rose was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her church and church family, Kings Community Church. She worked at Food4Less in Hammond, IN for the past 20 years and loved being around all the “young” people (anyone younger than her she considered young). She loved people and they loved her back. She loved all of her family with fierce passion. She joyfully worked to bring the family together for every holiday and was blessed to be able to do all the work of doing so. Her greatest passion was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She proclaimed him everywhere she went and to all who would listen. Her heart’s cry is for all her family to join her in eternity with Jesus by making Jesus their Lord and Savior.

Funeral services are scheduled for January 8, 2022 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322. Visitation is 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and a service officiated by Pastor Pete Tassio is from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Cremation will follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred toward Kings Community Church.
