Rosemary (nee Schoon) VanTil, 89, of Munster, IN, formerly of Highland, IN passed away June 5, 2018. She is survived by: loving children Jim (Ginny) VanTil, Doug (Jan) VanTil, Mary (Randy) Mitchell, and Cathy (Jeff) Visser, grandchildren Chris (Becky) Van Til, Robyn (Nathan) Popp, Brent (Brooke) Van Til, Kara (Mike) Kramer, Jason (Annie) Mitchell, Joshua (Meagan) Mitchell, Jori (Josh) Leeson, Brittany (Justin) Cole, Curtis (Whitney) Visser, and Michael (fiance Lauren) Visser, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, brother-in law Paul (Linda) VanTil, sisters-in-law Betty Schoon, Bea Breuker, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by: husband Cornelius (Case) Van Til and brother Neil Schoon.
Rosemary was a selfless person who joyfully gave her time and energy to service work. She was a charter and active member of New Life CRC (formerly II CRC), involved in Bible Club, Singing Group, Coffee Break, Choir, Highland Christian School Band Boosters and Trinity College Garden Committee. After raising her family she started a second chapter in life, working as a teachers assistant with the Northwest Special Education Coop for over 20 years.

Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 at New Life Christian Reformed Church 3010 Ridge Rd. Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, 10:00 am at New Life Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Bill Sytsma officiating. Burial at Schoon Family Cemetery, Munster, IN.
Memorials may be given to New Life CRC, Highland Christian School, Trinity Christian College, or a school or charity of your choice.
