Rudolph James Howell

Rudolph J. Howell was born in Ohio on December 30, 1944, to his beautiful mother Margaret Howell and father Daymon Howell. Rudolph passed away June 4, 2025, at South Suburban Hospital at the age of 80. He enjoyed reading and learning through books about Africa. Where his ancestors came from and the rich culture that his life was tied to. He had a wonderful career at the Chicago Transit Authority. He enjoyed seeing the views that the city of Chicago has to offer and the people that came with it. Through the years he made his family, and it grew. He was preceded in death by his wife Yolanda. He is survived by his beloved son Edward Evans (Cristina Rodriguez), grandchildren Astoria Cobourn, Bria Evans, Aaliyah Evans, Tia Evans, Amara Evans and Angelica Evans, his beloved son Rudolph Howell, Jr., grandchildren Deborah Jefferson and Shade Chandler, his beloved son Ahmed Howell, grandchildren Nyla Howell, Blayze Howell, Kayla Adams, Fatimah Howell, Imani Howell, Trevon Adams, Aaliyah Howell and Shakirah Howell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN.
