Ruth Marquardt Obituary
Ruth Marquardt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Cindy Hasselbring, grandchildren Kyle (Rachael) Hasselbring, Dana (Anthony) Marabella, great-grandchildren Brayden, Payton Hasselbring; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and son Robert Hasselbring.
Ruth was born in Hammond, IN, and lived her childhood years in Calumet City, IL, later retiring in Munster, IN. She worked 58 years at Faure Brothers in Calumet City, IL as an office employee manager, where she grew to love all the many generations of family members.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
