Ryan Matthew Goad

Ryan Matthew Goad, age 37, of St. John, Indiana, passed away on December 13, 2025.

Ryan was known for his incredibly big heart and fierce loyalty. He was protective by nature and never hesitated to show up for those he cared about. Ryan lived life on his own terms and did things his way. He was very particular and organized, believing everything had its place — a reflection of pride and intention.

He found joy in the things he loved most. Ryan was an avid golfer, a connoisseur of Nike gym shoes, enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle, playing dice and baccarat, and watching documentaries.

Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Bobby and Carey Goad; his sister Ashley (Mark) Fentress; his beloved niece Haylie Fentress; his grandmother Brenda Goad; and his loyal and best companion, Keelo Goad. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather Bobby Goad, his grandmother Adrienne Swetlik, and his beloved cat, Smokey. He was deeply loved by his family and will be forever missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date, with details to be shared by the family.
