Sally Welch

Sally Welch, 46, of LaPorte, IN (Chicago) passed away February 15, 2020. Born on June 4, 1973 in Chicago, IL to Justlin Wayne Welch and Sharon Ann Schmitz. She loved and was loved by her pets, Charger, Fury, Durango, Ki Ki, and Hannibal.

Preceded in death by many loved ones. She is survived by: parents Richard and Sharon Schmitz, daughter Lillian Marie Cedano, maternal grandmother Frances Fields, brothers Robert Powers (Dustin), Eric Schmitz (Nicole), and Stephen Schmitz, sister Shannon Grant (Sean), Godmother Sandra Lockhart, and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, second cousins, and dearest friends.

Sally was Godmother to Stephanie Lockhart and Miguel Ortiz.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Gathering Saturday, February 29, 2020 at South Side Christian Church, 1000 Broadmoor Ave. Munster, IN, 46321 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 4:00 pm. Pastor Kevin Groben officiating.
