Sara Gray Obituary
Sara Elizabeth Gray, 45, of Griffith, IN, passed away February 2, 2026, after many health struggles. She was a beloved daughter, wife, and mother who devoted herself to family. Born June 7, 1980, Sara is survived by husband Joshua; sons, Elijah Sopko, Nathan Sopko, and Max Gray, and mother Cheryl Staniszewski. Sara's many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will remember her as a true “people person” with a sparkling personality who talked much and loved more. Preceding Sara in death were her father David and maternal grandparents Dale and Harriet LaBounty.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN, 46322, from 5:30-9:30 PM.
Private interment will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations in Sara's honor to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) would be meaningful.
