Sara Marie Thiel

Sara Marie Thiel, age 37, passed away January 7, 2025.

Sara Marie is survived by her biological children Jullian Ladendorf (Thiel), Bradley Ladendorf (Thiel), and Lilly Thiel, brother Matthew Donnelly, parents Jean Fassoth Steele and Todd Steele, grandparents Edward Ladendorf, Richard (Dick) & Cathy Donnelly, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by father Scott Donnelly, grandmother Carole Ladendorf, aunt Jamie Benson, and uncles Billy Ladendorf and Troy Donnelly.

Sara Marie was born October 23, 1987 in Munster, She graduated in 2004 to include a certificate in medical administration. Sara Marie was raised in Griffith and Gary, IN. She was an excellent server, who was employed at Bridges Scoreboard in Griffith and DOC's Smokehouse in Dyer. Sara was loved by her customers and those she worked with. She had a huge heart and was compassionate to all. She received excellent customer reviews. She was a great listener, giving, caring, hardworking, and she loved God.

Sara Marie was a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend! To know Sara was to love Sara. Sara Marie was the epitome of love! She is an angel in heaven.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 6:30 pm.
